Global Travel Brand Giants Are Headed to Miami This October

On June 23, visitor registration opens for a highly anticipated travel exhibition.

The global travel industry is preparing to gather at the Miami Beach Convention Center on October 27th-28th, 2026, for WTE Miami, an international exhibition highlighting the emerging trends, technologies, and partnerships redefining global tourism.

Following its acquisition earlier this year by Fairfest Media, the tradeshow’s footprint and total industry impact are projected to double in size. The upcoming event is positioned to become the largest convergence of National Tourism Organizations at any travel trade show across the Americas. More than 500 exhibitors, 7,000 industry buyers, 500 hosted and VIP buyers, and high-level corporate leaders from around the world are expected to attend the two-day summit.

“The travel industry is entering one of the most significant periods of transformation in its history,” said Simon Press, managing director international at Fairfest Inc. “Artificial intelligence is changing how travelers discover and book destinations. Consumer expectations continue to evolve, new distribution channels are emerging and competition for the American traveler has never been greater. The U.S. outbound and domestic travel market continues to thrive. WTE Miami has been created to give the North American travel industry the practical knowledge and global business connections needed to succeed in this rapidly changing environment.”

This year’s event will revolve around the theme “Travel Advisor of the Future,” a theme designed to address how technology, shifting consumer expectations, and novel distribution frameworks are forcing travel advisors to adapt. Organizers have scheduled over 20 distinct educational sessions featuring more than 100 guest speakers. These discussions will dissect AI’s direct influence on destination marketing, customer engagement strategies, and global logistics. There are also sessions and panels scheduled to analyze US consumer behavior patterns, outbound travel metrics, creator-driven marketing, social media influence, and data collection models.

To ensure actionable educational value, the programming is being produced alongside prominent industry trade groups, including Host Agency Reviews (HAR), the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), and the African Travel Association (ATA). Organizers note that the final curriculum aims to supply travel professionals with concrete strategies to scale their operations, identify market opportunities, and cement brand-to-brand partnerships.

Rather than offering simple exhibition space like the typical convention, WTE Miami is structuring its layout to trigger commercial transactions. By integrating structured business matchups, executive networking avenues, and specialized panels, the expo connects destination boards, commercial airlines, hospitality brands, travel agents, and tech innovators directly with heavily vetted buyers actively looking to purchase new inventory.

The event’s buyer program is slated to coordinate more than 10,000 pre-arranged and spontaneous on-site meetings. These deal-making sessions will pull from all corners of the domestic travel sector, spanning home-based independent travel planners up to major institutional consortia and host agency networks.

The trade show is being executed in formal coordination with Miami International Airport (MIA) and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), a joint effort that highlights South Florida’s status as a top-tier international travel hub. Global associations like Skål and ASTA have also formally thrown their support behind the event.

More than 20 national tourism entities alongside hospitality and tech brands representing over 70 nations will populate the show floor. A wide range of global institutions have already confirmed their attendance, including: the Jamaica Tourist Board, South African Tourism, China National Tourist Office, Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, Maldives Mission to the United Nations, Belize Tourism Board, Honduras Tourism, Royal Jordanian, Iberia, SKY Airline, Frenchbee, Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels, and Juniper Travel Technology. Additional partners and exhibitors are expected to be revealed in the months leading up to WTE Miami.
